Waiting

Short is the time we spend here,

our lives well- or ill-lived.

Often, we tread into the desert

as we look for the sea.

One third of life’s clock you wait…

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock…

With all this wasted time,

it’s probably wise to stop

and think of the choices you’ve made.

With all this wasted time,

it’s probably wise to stop

and think what you’re waiting for.
