Forever friends

I never really met you, yet I hold you so high
I'm closer to you, though you're so far
In my mind, I draw a picture of your face, unknown to me
I feel your presence, your soul wherever I seek 
We exist, as partners in rhyme, together in poetry
We share our lives in grey days and rainbows 
We are so different, yet so alike it amazes me.
You gave me the true meaning of life: loving, sharing, caring, and giving
All the beauty life has to hold, you showed to me
All the love in this world, with no restraints, you gave it to me
You make me strong when I am weak, make me see when I seek
Your faith in me takes me high, you believe in me when no one's by my side
And you are all that is good to me, the earth, the sky... my dream, my hope
You play on my heart's chords, you are tender, sweet and gentle 
When we look up at the sky at night, it is to the same moon we pray
With all the Chaos in this world, we live in harmony and unity.
